We’re building one-click connection from ChatGPT to LedgerLou, so ChatGPT can work with every QuickBooks Online company you’ve connected. It isn’t available yet. Here’s what it will do, and what works today.

Can I connect ChatGPT to LedgerLou today?
Not yet. We're building one-click connection from ChatGPT. Today, Connect works with Claude Code and with other agents that connect to an MCP server with a key.
What will ChatGPT be able to do in QuickBooks?
The same as any agent on Connect: look up records, run reports and, if you allow it, create and edit transactions, attach files and fetch PDFs, across every QuickBooks company on your LedgerLou account.
Will ChatGPT's changes need my approval?
Connect doesn't use Lou's approval gate: a change posts when the agent makes it, and read-only access keeps an agent to answers. If you want each change previewed and approved first, ask Lou inside LedgerLou.
What can I use until then?
Ask Lou, our built-in bookkeeper, which works on the same books and waits for your approval. Or connect Claude Code, or another MCP agent such as Grok's command-line tool, Cursor or VS Code, with a LedgerLou key.
